Hello, I’m Bec a naturopath, hiking guide, and passionate advocate for living a vibrant, balanced life. My journey has been shaped by a love for nature, adventure, and the profound connection between our well-being and the world around us.
It all began with my deep appreciation for the outdoors. After completing a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation in 2012, I spent years as an adventure guide in the stunning Blue Mountains, fostering a curiosity about how time in nature restores both body and mind. This curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy (MNHAA), which I completed in 2019.
In 2020, I made my home in nipaluna/Hobart, Tasmania, where I joined Goulds Natural Medicine, furthering my clinical skills and immersing myself in evidence-based natural health care. My work has been complemented by volunteering with Herbalists Without Borders, where I enjoy running workshops and supporting community-driven health projects.
Nature as Medicine
Spending time in wild, beautiful places has taught me how essential nature is for healing. This understanding underpins both my work as a naturopath and my role as a hiking guide with the Tasmania Walking Company, leading groups along the Three Capes Track.
There is something extraordinary about watching people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover the joy of being immersed in the natural world. Whether on the trail or in my practice, my intention is to foster that same sense of connection and grounding. I also love offering mindfulness walks during my guided hikes and workshops, creating gentle moments for people to pause, breathe, and truly land in their bodies and the landscape around them.
